Oksana Chusovitina

Oksana Chusovitina is most noted for competing at the advanced age of 33 in the Beijing Olympics for the German gymnastics team where she won an individual silver medal for the vault. Chusovitina didn't come to the vault late in life, beginning her competitive career in the 1980's and competing in a total of 5 different Olympic games. She represented the Soviet Union in the first, Uzbekistan in the next three and finally Germany in the 2008 games. Her exuberance in the gym, slender physique and square jaw are best described as boyish.
